Gymmagic have recently opened their new gymnastics faciltiy in Pudsey, Leeds. The gymnastics centre boasts a full FIG sprung floor, 8 beams, 2 sets of A-bars, a high bar, vaulting area and tumble track.

Our plans for the gym include building a pit area, a trampoline area, a soft play area for our Mini Magic clasess. we have 3 rooms for hire and are inviting local groups to come and hire our additional facilities here in Pudsey.

Prior to this Gymmagic started 5 years ago at Calverley Church school 1 evening a week,a nd soon snowballed into classes at Priesthorpe, Morley High, Hanson school and Pudsey Sports Centre. Gymmagic have worked in over 70 primary schools in the Leeds area, delivering school curriculum lessons and after schools gymnastics clubs.

We moved into our new gymnastics centre, in Pudsey, Leeds,  in April 2010.

GYMMAGIC IN PUDSEY, WAS FOUNDED IN 2005 BY SHARON GOTT AND IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF 2 BRAVE WOMEN BOTH OF WHOM TRAGICALLY LOST THEIR LIVES TO BREAST CANCER.HER MOTHER JEAN AND HER TRAINING COMPANION AND FORMER OLYMPIC GYMNAST BARBARA COLLINS NEE ALRED.

Both of these women taught me how to be courageous and strong .As a gymnast I started at the age of 2 at Calverley Church School and cried for the first 2 months.Thankfully my coach Carrie Pollard, an Olympian herself persevered and I went on to have 16 wonderful years with only happy memories at Saltaire Ladies.Within our talented squad were 2 Olympians a European Acro Champion,British and Yorkshire Champions,today I realize just how lucky I was to have such a gifted coach in Carrie and her daughter Jill Coulton and priveledged to be part of such a successful team many of whom still coach or are involved in the sport. Even though Carrie was an Olympian and bred many future Olympians she still remained grounded and coached at Calverley Church School.She was the best mentor and role model anyone could have asked for.

Gymnastics is one of the best multi skill sports for youngsters any child who has a basic knowledge of gymnastics will excel in most other sports.Its benefits include flexibility, strength, balance and coordination, increasing confidence and self esteem . Gymmagic has been created to give more children opportunities,to have a balanced healthy lifestyle  physically ,mentally and emotionally and to be the best they can be.

Here at Team Gymmagic in the heart of Pudsey, all our coaches have current British Gymnastic Qualifications,are CRB checked,First Aiders and have attended Child Protection Courses.

Gymmagic has also gained club Gymmark status awarded by British Gymnastics as an approved club. 

Recreational Classes in Pudsey, achieve British Gymnastic Badges/Festivals and Key Steps Competitions and the 9+ classes enjoy General Gymnastic Competitions whilst our Compulsory/National Competition Classes train on the British Gymnastics pathway within a Regional Framework.Display Team visit local shows and Galas,Festivals around Great Britain and work towards Gymnastraeda held every 4 years in Europe.
