Parents Code of Conduct

As a parent or guardian of a gymnast at Gymmagic, you play a vital role in supporting your child’s development and upholding the values of our club. By enrolling your child, you agree to the following expectations:

  1. Punctuality and Attendance
    • Ensure your child arrives on time, appropriately dressed, and prepared to participate.
    • Collect your child promptly from the designated area at the end of the session.
    • Notify the club in advance of any absence or late arrival, where possible.
  2. Supportive Attitude
    • Encourage your child to enjoy the sport and give their best effort, regardless of outcomes.
    • Celebrate effort, progress, and good sportsmanship over competition results.
    • Avoid placing undue pressure on your child; allow them to develop at their own pace.
  3. Respect for Staff and Volunteers
    • Treat all Gymmagic coaches, volunteers, and officials with courtesy and respect.
    • Do not openly criticise staff or other parents; any concerns should be addressed privately and constructively.
    • Support coaches’ decisions and reinforce the importance of teamwork and following instruction.
  4. Health and Safety
    • Ensure your child is physically and mentally fit for training, particularly after illness or injury.
    • Inform the club of any medical, emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties that may impact your child’s participation.
    • Keep all emergency contact and healthinformationup to date.
  5. Communication and Cooperation
    • Maintain open, respectful communication with coaches and staff.
    • Inform the club in writing if your child intends to leave. A one-month notice period is required; otherwise, fees for half a term will apply.
    • Unpaid fees that exceed three months may be passed to an external debt collection agency.
  6. Behaviour and Conduct
    • Be a positive role model by promoting respectful and appropriate behaviour.
    • Refrain from using inappropriate or offensive language during club sessions or events.
    • Do not take photographs or videos of children other than your own, unless permission has been granted.

    • Support club initiatives and attend meetings or events when possible.
    • Volunteer or assist during club activities, events, or fundraising efforts where you can.
  8. Safeguarding and Welfare
