Leadership Academy 🎓

Gymmagic Gymnastics Leadership Academy is the academy at the club for those showing an interest in becoming a coach or getting involved in some of the other aspects including events at the club. We work through the British Gymnastics Leadership program achieving Bronze, Silver then Gold before taking a helpers award leading to a Level 1 Qualification in Gymnastics Coaching once 16. We also do an introductory judging award which leads to club and regional level judging awards.

The leadership academy meet every half term and volunteer at the club each week to learn from our mentor coaches.
We also have a whatsapp group to keep up to date with how they are getting on and offer extra courses and activities to help with their coaching.
During the scheme our young leaders will take part in the Gym Magic Gymnastics training programs allowing them to be ready to coach as a paid member of staff once ready.
The Academy is open to all members aged 11 – 17 (the academy is free however they will need BG membership to take part)
